A semi active control for a full aircraft landing gear model
Semi active landing gear can provide good performance in difference landing scenarios. Particularly, semi active landing gear using magnetorheological damper is the most candidate to replace the passive damper. In this paper, the full aircraft landing gear model with three points landing gear case is build using SIMSCAPE (MATLAB). To reduce the acceleration of aircraft, semi active control methods are developed and compare. In this paper, sliding mode control, and optimal control are applied to compare with passive damper. The result of numerical simulation shows that the acceleration of aircraft can be significantly reduced by using optimal control compared to other control algorithms.
