Semi – Active landing gear equipped Magneto - rheological (MR) damper is promising trend to replace passive damper with huge confined under landing conditions. This paper presents an algorithm control based on Sliding Mode Control (SMC) not only to deal with parameter variations and external disturbances but also improve the performance of landing gear using MR fluid.
